I'm not really sure, but I would pronounce it FAIR-uh. I think FAR-uh is a little harder to say.
I have a (male) teacher named Farrar, pronounced FAIR-uh. I think it's kinda funny. He says his name is mistaken as Sarah over the phone sometimes. Hehe.
