I think Armani is tacky, materialistic, empty and gross, sorry. It just sounds so.. corny. Like the parents are trying to make him sound rich and lap-of-luxury, but it just makes him look sleezy. Giovanni is such a nice name, it would be a shame to see it paired with Armani. And yes, I do think they're too similar, as they rhyme. What about Armando? It has the same ethnic background as Giovanni, and is a thousand times classier, IMO.
