[Opinions] Byrdie/Birdie
I really like this name...is it just me? I feel like most people would strongly dislike it. I think its so sweet and fluffy but still a bit old as well. I've thought of doing something like Eleanor Byrd and using Byrdie as a common nickname to lessen the effect slightly. Anyway, what are your thoughts on byrdie?

It's cute - it actually might work as a middle name (but I prefer it spelled correctly). I've actually thought about as a nn, since I'd love to use Nightingale as a middle name and Birdie would work well as a sweet nn.

I was prepared to hate it, but then you talked about Eleanor Byrd "Birdie" and I like it. I think it's retro and cute.

Birdie would be a cute nn, I'm very fond of it myself. I don't think you would necessarily have to use Birdie as the mn to get away with using it as a nn.

It's funny because the only Birdie I have ever known was a nickname for Eleanor. I have also known a Bunny who was a nickname for Eleanor.

I knew a Bunny whose actual name was Jaunita.

I like Birdie (this spelling) quite a bit, as a nickname. I've heard of one little girl named Abigail, nn Birdie, and I thought that was sweet.
