[Opinions] WDYT of Edmond?
I recently read “Le Comte de Monte-Crist” and the protagonist named Edmond.
What do you think of Edmond? I think it’s nice…
Do you have any suggestions for Edmond’s mn?
Do you have any suggestions for Edmond’s siblings?

:-D love itEdmund (this spelling) is my No. 1 top choice for a son. I like the idea of calling him Ed.

I like it; I think of it as an interesting rarer variation on Edward (which I also love but it is so popular!) I think I may also prefer this spelling to Edmund, maybe because Edmund sounds stodgier. As for mn...Edmond George
Edmond James
Edmond Christian
Edmond Christopher
Edmond Albert
Edmond Ignatius (inspiration from Cate Blanchett!)

I prefer Edmund.

dittoAfter Edmund from Narnia. I really dislike Ed or Eddie though, so I can't use it as a first name out of fear that's what he'd want to go by.

I've never been much of a fan of any of the Ed- names, except Edward. For some reason the first combo that popped into my head was Edmond Siegfried. I don't care for it at all.
Edit: Forgot to put the "g" in Siegfried. *headdesk* I'm having problems with typing today, I'm putting all my letters backwards or in the wrong places, or leaving them out entirely. Bear with me.

Oh, Edmond Siegfried (or Edmund Siegfried) would be a great combination. It brings up images of Siegfried Sassoon (sp?), the Bloomsbury set, WWI, and Flanders Field. Sad, but poetic and haunting. You've just convinced me to put Siegfried on my long list. Thanks.
