Couple's First House
Calliope and Dexter met while taking a pottery class together and immediately hit it off. Calliope had been born and raised in Victoria, BC, Canada, the daughter of a Greek immigrant and a Canadian mother. Dexter had been born and raised in Liverpool, England, but liked British Columbia so much when on a visit that he decided to stay. The couple were living together in Victoria when Dexter popped the question at their favourite Italian restaurant. Calliope was naturally thrilled, and the couple decided to marry and honeymoon way down in Florida, where Calliope's grandparents lived, so that they could attend. They had a small, classic wedding on the beach before returning to Victoria to settle down.
