I love Aviva, it's one of my all-time favourites. But with all the Avas and Averys lately I'm trying to suppress my love a little. I generally try to avoid popular names but I'm also a bit put off by names that sound similar to popular names.

I know it's the name of a pool accesory compant. I was walking around a shopping center and outside a pool store, there was a kid's waterslide with "Aviva" on it.

I have to agree with you on this one. It's very sneaky. I keep finding it in the corners of my mind trying to wiggle into my mind. Then I tell it off and it backs down for a month or so...I really like it though but I just can't bring myself to allow it to be a favourite. There is something about it that I don't think can work. Drives me a little insane though...
