[Opinions] Re: Cora and Combos
I adore Cora because it is a family name for me. I'd love to use it as a MN for a daughter someday, but I have a hard time finding the right combo. I would definitely use it as a FN, too, but for me it clashes slightly with the LN. Some of my tentative past and present Cora combos have been:
Annabel Cora
Eleanor Cora
Elisabeth Cora
Beatrice Cora
Sophie Cora
Olivia CoraPossibilities I like with it as a FN:
Cora Blythe
Cora Meredith
Cora Frances
Cora Lillian
Cora June
Cora GenevieveI suggested the Cora combos before I read this list, but I notice there are some name repeats. Sorry, but hey, at least we have the same style going. :)
Amarilla Florence (nn Rilla) -- Amarilla is not my style, but I like Florance. Have you considered Aurelia? It is similar to Amarilla, but I think it flows better.
Camellia Susan (nn Millie) -- Prefer the simpler Camille, but the combo is nice, and I adore Millie
Constance Isolde (nn Connie) -- A little too fanciful for me
Felicity Jane (nn Flick) -- Adorable. I really like both names, and the combo is nice and balanced. Flick is cute for occassional use.
Lavender Frances -- I do not like Lavender as a name, but I love Frances
Meredith Paget (nn Merry) -- Great without the NN
Ravenna Acacia -- Reminds me of something a teenaged gothic fiction writer would use as a pen-name. Sorry
Octavia Maris -- Lovely, though a little heavy
June Alys -- I dislike this spelling of Alice, but I like both names overall.
