Reminds me of the term "aviatrix" (a female aviator).
Not surprising as a variation of Beatrix

Oh, I'm never closed-minded about ethnic and unusual names, but I invariably close the door on poor invented variations and spellings (like Ryleigh), names dervied from shallow pop-culture influences (like Jagger), cutsie names that would hinder an adult (like Lily), silly word names (like Bluejay), or invented names with extreme flaws (like Evolet). You may see this as closed-minded, but I see it as avoiding disaster.

I wouldn't say that you're not close-minded concerning ethnic names, considering you've said cultures that use 2 middle names are silly just because you happen to dislike the practice.
No one is asking you to repress negative opinions, simply to phrase them in a way that's not rude and tactless.

I still do think multiple middle names are silly. It is my opinion. Respect it.
I dislike double middle names myself, but saying a whole culture is silly because of a matter of taste in names is plain ethnocentrism, a trait that doesn't deserve much respect.

(I agree with you on the middle names, by the way.)
Would you respect the opinion of someone who wanted to name their child a name you think is horrid? If you honestly would respect the opinion of those people, maybe others would respect yours.

I respect everyone's opinions on here. Turning a blind eye to distaste is another matter.
