I like Bethany. It's pretty, feminine, and not extraordinary common.

I loathe the nickname Beth, though. Such a harsh sound.

I like Beth, it's my mum's name so good by association (plus Little Women), but I like Bethany more. If I used Bethany she'd either be just Bethany, or Bethy. I've never met a Bethany but I really like the name.
