I like Ariana...but it isn't Welsh!
I found it on a website that says that it is welsh, and it means slivery. It is a variant of Arian and Arionrhod, and Arian is a welsh word for silver. I know what you mean by it not being welsh. There is a greek version that comes from the name Ariadne which means "most holy", and a variant in the English Language is Arianna.

Yes, sometimes Aria, Ria, even Nikki because my middle name is Nikole. I pronounce my name ah-ree-en. Thanx for the compliment. :)

Anwyl - cute, can also mean "dear" or "favourite child"
Ariana - exotic sounding, I like it
Arianell - this looks too made-up to me
Ariene - prefer Ariane, looks more complete
Arianwen - cute but you have the pronounciation wrong, it is ah-RAHN-when, it also means silver and fair/blessed/etc not just fair-/blesssed :)
Efa - love! this is soo cute, I might use it
Eirianwen - nms, OTT
Eira - - cute, I prefer Eirlys though ("snowdrop") or Eiry
Seren - cute but I think the English have caught on to this one and it is being used more :(
Aeden - it is spelt Aedann, I think it has Irish roots though :/
Bran - love, although it reminds me of bran-flakes :D
Brice - nms
Cedric - sounds too uppety to me
Cian - love, a great name
Dillan - prefer Dillon

I believed that Arianwen was prounouced the way that it was- it was prounouced (ah-RAHN-wen) on the website- because another form of this name, Aranwen said that it was prounouced (ah-ree-AHN-wen) And, that did not seem right to me since Arianwen had an (i) and Aranwen did not. But, I could have gotten that wrong.
I copied these names down on a website and I might have mispelled some of them since I was in a hurry and have horrible handwriting. The website actually spells the name Aedan, Aeddan.
I love the name Bran from the Irish legend of this saint coming to America before all other Europeans. I think Madeleine L'Engle (author of A Wrinkle in Time), uses him in one of her stories.
