And Miles Davis is a widely known jazz artist - and is considered to be a genius by the majority of people. When she's an adult she will be asked - repeatedly - if she was named after Miles Davis.Ditto Eowyn.

This is very trueBut since I WAS named after Miles Davis it doesn't bother me. I'm not sure how I would take it if I wasn't.

I find that funny, actuallyWhile Miles Davis was a genius at music he was also one of the meanest, craziest, and misogynist men ever. Still love his music, though.

Yeah, he wasn't the greatest human being on earth. but, well, what can ya do. Though, (mostly because of my name) If I were to name a child after someone I'd try to make sure that said namesake wasn't mad as a hatter :-)
