Blue as a name? Hate it.
Cerulean as a name? Hate it.
Cerulean sounds especially pretentious. I try to be as much of an intellectual snob as I can. But this is even too much for me.

Agreed.
Blue is a nice colour, but when used on people it makes them sound miserable!
