Well what a few months we have had! When Daniel and i first married we lived in an apartment in Paris and when Jean Claude came along, although it was a squeeze, we decided to stay on for the moment because we loved the place so much. However, our daughter Rosanna was born 4 months ago so we took the plunge and decided to buy our own house somewhere. Whilst we were house hunting we decided to stay with Daniel's parents in Burgundy. Anyway, there had been bad weather all last week and i didnt think too much of it - being wrapped up with the baby - until three nights ago when i leapt out of bed at 2 am after hearing a huge crash. One of the old trees surrounding the farm house had been hit by lightening and it had crashed into the west side of the house! Luckily all the bedrooms are on the east side so no one was hurt. The family is now staying with friends in the village but Daniel and i really need to start looking for our own place in earnest now. Watch this space!
