[Opinions] Wren
Okay....here's the deal. I'm totally crushing on the name Wren. Honestly. And I know I'm making myself sound like a moron going on and on about this name. Anyway....to the real point of this post.I was wondering if Wren Bennett sounds okay. I'm thinking about having Wren for the first name. Bennett is the last name, and please note that there is no middle name. I am not opposed to a middle name, so please suggest away if you wish. However, this is one of those names that can stand alone. Also, this character goes through this entire process where her name is changed. I was thinking maybe from Wren to Serenity. Sewrenity. Get it? Maybe not though, because that seems sort of tacky. However, it is essential that her name is changed. So list away at that too if you wish. And if no name besides Serenity can be found, could you possbly give some good combos for it?

I'd really appreciate any sort of response. It doesn't matter if it's positive, negative, suggestive, non-suggestive......I only care if you respond. Thanks so much.

I love Wren. :-)Wren Bennett is not the best combination. Too much "en" sound. Wren --> Renata, Renee, Lauren / Laurentine, Karen, Maren (sounds like my wren).

Wren Bennett is a little too rhyme-y for me, but not horrible. One of my recent discoveries was that Wren/Ren would be a nn for Kerensa, which I also love. :)

Wren Bennett sounds great. Do characters even need mns? I mean, they wouldn't ever really be given.Serenity "Wren" does seem a bit, well, stretched. Wouldn't you spell it Ren, as there is no w in Serenity? Wouldn't the more natural nickname be Sair or something? I think Wren would be fine as a full name for a character. Or maybe, to make her a bit more realistic, Wren could be her middle name that she goes by because her first name is too common or formal for her. Jennifer Wren
Ashley Wren
Elizabeth Wren
Rachel Wren
Danielle Wren.. or something?Good luck :)

I think Wren Bennett sounds better than Serenity Bennett. They have repeated sounds, but I like repeated sounds--and Serenity Bennett sounds too top-heavy. Wren's got a delicate beauty that handles poetic devices like assonance and consonance better. :)I do think she deserves a middle name, though, because Wren is too pretty to remain friendless. Could you give me an idea of what other sorts of names you like? I might hit closer to the target, then.Array

Thanks =)Wren Joy is nice. Serenity Joy would sort of play into the whole emotion theme though. But maybe that would work. Thanks so much.
