I think Celtic names sound really pretty, but like you, I find the spellings a bit cumbersome. That's why I'd use Seersha, Shavonne, and Neve before Saoirse, Siobhan, and Niamh. If you search the database, you'd see that most Irish names have a phonetic anglicized form that would be more appropriate to use in the US.
