I love Jane. :) I agree with all those people who say it's timeless, classic, etc. As for my impression of Jane, it brings to mind somebody who would be very sophisticated and smart. My favorite spelling is Jayne, as it reminds me of Jayne Mansfield. But I love seeing Jane as well. I might use Jayne as a mn (for Meredith) someday.
