Don't like it. Delta Dawn is horrible, sorry. There's a singer from here (Australia) called Delta Goodrem. She's very popular and well known and that's who I think of first.

I really don't like it. So many things come to mind. Airplanes, sororities, the end of a river. All associtations aside it could have some potential as a name.

Delta is quite pretty - it's nms but it makes me think of the Aussie singer Delta Goodrem who I like. But please please please don't use Delta Dawn! Probably not many people my age (19-20) know this song, and even fewer will know it once any little girls born in the next few years given this name grow up, but it's such a sad song so has bad connotations, plus the combo sounds a wee bit hillbilly and reminds me of Prairie Dawn from Sesame Street.

More than the song/airline/an actual delta, I think of the actress Delta Burke and her snobby character (named Suzanne) from "Designing Women". So it strikes me as a rich, snobby, and very Southern girl/woman.

I know an airline (like they are talking about below) and a horse named Delta, if the name was ever good for me (which it wasn't) it would be dead by now.

That's funny because when I first saw the title it made me think of the song Delta Dawn.
Anyways, Delta Dawn flows well but it's still nms.

I don't like it at all. I don't like the sound of it and I associate it with marshy, swampy areas. Delta Dawn isn't awful but definitely nms.
