[Opinions] Love it!

I absolutely love Benedict! It's been on my favourites list for years. There's something regal and off-setting about it.1. Do you think Benedict would automatically be associated with the Pope? DO you think it would be associated with Benedict Arnold? Now that there's a pope named Benedict, a minority of people might assume that's where you got the idea from (especially if you're Catholic). But I think the overwhelming majority would associate it with Benedict Arnold. 2. Do you like the nn Ben or is some other nn better?I'm not too keen on Ben as a nickname because it's the most common nickname for Benjamin. Since Benedict is awesome due to the fact that it's uncommon and unpopular, I believe that giving it the nickname Ben is destroying the charm that comes with its usage. 3 What are some good combos?Benedict Daviess
Benedict Patrick
Benedict Paul
Benedict Robert
Benedict David
Benedict Ian
Benedict Samuel
Benedict Grant
Benedict Walter
Benedict Augustus
Benedict Louis
Benedict Crispin
Benedict Christian
Benedict Victor
Benedict Xavier

Thank you, for the input, I am Catholic which is part of the reason I asked about the Pope association, and it kind of turns me away from the name because that it is the name of the Pope totally doesn't play into why I like the name. I also understand where you are coming from about Ben, but I just think Benedict is too heavy for a small child.Of the combos you mentioned I would considerBenedict Samuel
Benedict Grant
Benedict Christian
Benedict Xavier (I love this)

Very good! I also love Benedict Victor (why didn't I think of that? *slaps self on forehead*) and Benedict Grant. Well done!
