I once knew a girl called Alisa, and until now I never gave it much thought. I dislike Alyssa, but this is really appealing to me. I don't think it would get confused with Alyssa too much (its not such a common name around here anyway), but I'm not sure.

Anyway, WDYT?

I've recently discovered Alisa and I really like it because the pronunciation seems more straightforward than Alicia or Elisa. BtN says it's the Russian form of Alice which I think is pretty cool.

I don't think Alisa would get confused with Alyssa on paper or based on sound.
