since I'm german I pronounce it ahn-ne-lee-zu ... and it's a real grandmother's name to me, really old fashioned.
But I dunno, if you want the pronunciation ann-ah-LEES, you can simply spell it Annalies. "Lies" is a variant of "Liese".
Annelies does exist as well and it's pronounced ahn-ne-lees and I wouldn't be surprised if some girls are called Annaliese or Annalies, eventhough I don't know any.
But all of them sound really old to me ;)
