[Opinions] Oh!
I'm very ignorant and silly, sorry. I should have at least asked or bothered to find out if you were French.I'll try again in light of new information: if you pronounced Elise aleeez and Evan frenchly, but didn't insist that everyone else did, it would be fine. (With me, I mean. Which is, you know, REALLY important. :P It wouldn't seem ridiculous or pretentious to me, anyway.) And I like both names a lot, actually. My friend Judith Carolina "Carolina" is hoo-deet cah-ro-lee-na to her parents and Care-oh-line-a to everyone else, and it doesn't bother her. But if she went by Judith and insisted it be pronounced hoo-deet, I would roll my eyes at her a lot.I hope this was slightly less rude. Sorry for being such a jerk :)
