[Opinions] Rosetta
Honestly, WDYT? I've only come across it today properly for the first time. As it's an Italian pet form of the name Rosa, I'm assuming it probably means along the lines of 'little Rosa/litte Rose'? When I see it though, I can't help thinking of the Rosetta Stone, which I've heard of so many times before, so the familiarity with that association has taken off the cuteness for me a bit. I've also noticed it hasn't been very popular since the sixties. A bit outdated, maybe?

It's my neice's name, named after her great grandmother, and it's lovely. She gets a lot of complements on it. I do think of the rosetta stone a bit, but it doesn't bother me.

I wasn't sure about this name at first, but the more I said it over and over to myself, the more I really liked it. I'm a big fan of Rose names, myself, so I think that Rosetta is a lovely embellishment of Rose and Rosa.

I love it, it's beautiful! Some people may make the Rosetta Stone connection, but I don't that should stop you from using it.I don't think that it's outdated, I think that it's refreshing : )

Rosetta is lovely, but it does remind me of the Rosetta Stone! I don't think it is outdated, and it would be lovely to see on a little girl. One of my current top names though is Rosa.

I adore it!Rosetta is not as common as Rose, nor as old-sounding (to me) as Rosa. It's flexible, pretty, and classic. I just love it!I have an ancestor named Sarah-Rosetta, who went by simply Rosetta. Thus I have an even better reason to use it on a daughter some day.

I love Rosetta. It's a longtime favorite of mine.

I don't like it but I dislike most girls names ending in -etta or- ette. I think Rose or Rosa are much better than Rosetta. The -etta part ruins the Ros- part imo.

It's nice but I think it's best as a middle name.
