Ditto, I can't get past the 'pee'

I've always loved it, as I knew two girls named Pia when I was a kid. But I would never be able to use it, for the "pee" reason.

I know a couple of people in mainland Europe called Pia and I always associate the name with Europe - I'm not sure about it anywhere else. It sounds pretty but I can't get away from the whole Mia, Kia, Tia thing which I dislike!

I think it would be cute as a nn. Possibly for Paulina or Patricia.

I really like it, but then I have a good personal association with it. I'd rather see that used that the rather corny (in my opinion) Mia.

I like it a lot. It is cute, but classic sounding, and not over used. I really like it, but doubt I would use it on a child of my own. Though it would make an interesting character name.

I don't care for the "pee" myself, but I tend to think of the brain's pia mater.

I like it very much. It's one of the only -ia names I care for; I'm not a big fan of Mia, Gia, Tia, or whatever else. Pia, though, I think is really sweet--but still a bit saucy.

I kind of like it, but I hear the word 'pier.' That might just be because i live near the seaside, though!

I sort of personally prefer Mia. It's an ok name It can be cute indeed. However, Mia is darling.

It's cute, but nms. I think if it were pronounced PIE-uh it could work as the girl grows up.

I feel the exact same way as you. It looks pretty but all I hear is 'pee'.

I love it! I think it's absolutely adorable and would definitely use it.
