I think you meant
Kira is the
feminine form of
Kirill, which is the Russian form of
Cyril. I don't know why this site doesn't mention that. It says
Kira is a form of
Kyra, but
Cyril and
Cyrus are two different names.
Grand Duchess
Kira Kirillovna of Russia was a famous bearer. Her name was usually transliterated as
Kyra, though.
