This is a total guess, but it looks taken from Greek.Now, based on other names, the Russians put F instead of P or TH, so it may be based on a Greek name looking something like Callisthenia. If so, the Calli seems to be from Kalos in Greek, meaning "beautiful" (as in Calogero, for example), and Sthenia from Sthenos, "strength".I also found Cleisthenes, which looks somewhat similar.Now, this is a guess, so don't believe it until it's confirmed (or debunked) by Pavlos or someone else who knows what he's talking about.Edited to add: there was also a Greek historian named Callisthenes, and this definitely looks like the feminine form.
