Help[Opinions] Roger
Roger has really been growing on me lately. I think it's really handsome and has a lot of history behind it. But I can't seem to find the right combo, you know? Roger David is my favorite so far, but it seems almost too bland (as in, half my dad's friends from high school are either Roger or Dave, lol). Is it too boring? I've also thought about:
Roger Patrick
Roger Elias
Roger Eduard
Roger Samuel
Roger Llywelyn
Roger Benedict
But, like I said, none of these are really popping out at me. Any other ideas? I'm open to anything, first name or middle name suggestions, since I'm not even positive if I want Roger as a first name. Thanks so much! :D

The Roger I know well is Roger Dale. You don't see Roger used much anymore, that's for sure. I'm not crazy about it, because of the things like "Roger, over and out!" and Roger Rabbit and also the fact roger used to be a slang term for, well, to have sexual relations with. I am not making that up! I have seen it used in that context jokingly even today.

Nice to see another vote for Roger Samuel, that seems to be the favorite so far. Roger Paul is great too! Roger William and Roger Kenneth would appeal to me, but they remind me of Roger Williams University, the college half the kids from my town end up going, and Kenny Rogers, respectively.

I think it was used more in England (not sure if it still is or not)--the vulgar usage of "roger" that is (I always assumed it was "rodger" though I'm not sure why). I'm a big watcher of British movies and I've heard it used many times, but I can't remember if they were set in present or past times. :-/ Just hearing that a couple of times kind of ruined the name for me (not that I was a big fan in the first place, though).

Yeah, I've still heard 'roger' used here in England in the vulgar sense, although it was used more in the past than it is now. Still puts me off the name though :/ (not that I liked it much anyway either!)
