I think Rory should stand on it's own. (I like it but I prefer Ruairí) Richard to Rory is too much of a jump for me.
To be honest I don't understand the need to have a "complete" name for Rory - does it sound very nick-namey to non-Irish ears? Having said that I have seen it used as a nn for Roderick in Ireland:)
