Someone called me Meg the other day at work, generally I don't let people call me by any form of my name because I don't like any of them. Meg, Meggie, Maggie, etc... ick. The only people I allow to call me by a nn related to my name are my dad and my aunt, who call me Megster or Megs on occasion.
Other nicknames I have are Old Hag, Moose, Plushie, Meggo (okay, I guess that's sort of related to my name too, but it was more supposed to be a play off of Eggo, like the waffle), and Sweetie (not really a nn I guess, more of a term of endearment). Most of those have rather long stories behind them.
