My sister has always called me Adrienne, as in 'Yo, Adrienne.' She's several years older than I am, and apparently in the 80s she said that to everyone, but she said I came crying to her one day when I was 5 or 6 after she called a friend of mine 'Adrienne' and said to her 'But that's MY name.' :b
Recently, my new nn has become Aunt Leather because that's what my 3-year-old step-great-nephew calls me, lol. Oddly enough, he could say Leather before Heather. Now I've been called Feather, Hevver, Heffer, etc. by small children, but Leather was a first. :)
