Many years have passed since Mila and River married each other. Throughout their lives, their love flourished for each other and through that love, they had 15 children together and were married for 57 years, until the death of River. River and four of his children [Kordy, Zarek, Lucy, and Lexan] were involved in a horrible car accident about a year ago and sadly, all five died. None of the four kids who died had ever married or had any children.
Harper is the eldest child of Mila and River. She married a wonderful man named David many years ago and they've been together for 32 years. They had 3 children together: Marc, who is 31, and twins Laura and Jorge, who are 26. She also has 8 grandchildren by Marc and Tina.
Marc married a beautiful woman named Tina. They were unable to have children naturally so they resorted to IVF and successfully had twin girls, Keira and Marina. They decided they wanted another child, and would accept twins or triplets due to the multiple rate of IVF. Tina became pregnant again, and to everyone's surprise, it was sextuplets [6 kids]! Marc and Tina didn't know how they would be able to care for 8 children under 5 at first, but they pulled through. Keira and Marina are now 7, and Matilda, Logan, Finley, Poppy, Isobel, and George are now 4.
Laura and Jorge are 26, unmarried, and neither have children. Laura went to law school at Harvard and is a prestigious lawyer. She would like a family someday, but she'd like to focus on her career first. George lives in Europe and has been traveling around the continent since he graduated from Duke University. He would love to have a wife, but he does not want children.
Portia and Mira are Mila and River's 48 year old twins. Mira remains unmarried with no children. Portia married a man named Adam and had 3 children, Adrian, Luna, and Noella.
Adrian married Judith and had twins Sara and Natalia, aged 10, and one boy, named Adrian William [after his father], who is now 6.
Phoebe married Bradley, with whom she had a boy named Gerard. He is 5, and they are happy with their family's size.
Noella recently married a man named Chris. They have taken into their care relatives Gail and Lexa [last description for more info.]. They hope to someday have children of their own.
Malena is Mila's 40 year old daughter. She married Andrew Mekellian. Together they had 6 daughters: Isobel, Beatrise, Elisabeth, Imogen, Sofia, and Charlotte. They both wanted a boy, but after having 6 beautiful girls, they decided to adopt a baby boy, Nic. The family is close and the children love having so many siblings.
Lily and Livia, 39 year old twins, married they Rodrigues twins, Carl and Marc. Lily and Carl had two children: Manuel, 8, and Celia, 3. They are considering adopting twins, but they aren't sure yet. Livia and Marc had 3 children: Isabella, Martin [9], and Hector [6]. Livia is pregnant again, but they don't know names or genders yet.
Luna [36] and twins Lenny and Luka [33] moved to Africa together. They have been involved in many charities and organizations since they moved there 10 years ago. None have married, but they each have adopted children all over Africa. They have had little contact with the family so they know little other than this: Luna adopted 3 girls and 1 boy. She is in the process of adopting a second boy from Mozambique. Luna plans to spend the remainder of her life in Africa, as she has grown fond of the country. Lenny has adopted 2 boys and 2 girls and is done adopting. He is planning on moving back to America soon, and hopes get back in contact with his family, as he misses them very much. Luka has adopted 7 children, mostly multiples, genders unknown. He plans on moving to Europe or Asia for 5 years [and adopting 3 more children], then coming back to the U.S. and reconnecting with his family.
Milan was never heard of again after he graduated from high school. Mila doesn't know if he's dead or alive, but is alive, he's 32. She hopes to contact him soon, as she's been trying for many years, and would like to talk to him again before she dies.
Sacha was sentenced to life in prison after murdering his wife and kidnapping his 2 daughters, Lexa and Gail. The two little girls have been sent to live with other relatives, Noella and Chris, who just recently married. Lexa and Gail miss their mom, resent their father, and love Chris and Noella. They have emotional issues, but that's expected.
