[Opinions] Sullivan
Recently I've really been liking the name Sullivan for a boy. What do you think of it? If you have any middle name ideas for this name feel free to mention them.

It's pretty nice (especially because it has a family connection for me), though I'm not really going for the nn Sully at all, because I don't like the sound or the word association. Just Sul might be a good nn.
I think Sullivan Quinn would be cool, albeit a bit themey. :)

I can't move past "sully."
All I see when I see Sullivan is the word sully, meaning "tarnished" at best or "disgraced/defiled" at its worst. Sullivan itself is okay, full of spunky Irish charm. I guess the nn just sullies it for me. :)
With Sullivan, I would choose a classic mn.
Sullivan Charles
Sullivan Adam
Sullivan Patrick
Sullivan Robert

Too surnamey. But I like the nn Sully. It makes me think of the hottie character from Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.
Same as me (as you can probably tell from my other comment)! Though Sully was his last name, his fn was Byron.
(another combo option right there!)

Too darts-into-the-phonebook surnamey ... does not strike me as a personal name, so I don't care for it.
It's weird, because I don't like Sullivan as a first name (it's all surname to me), but I think the nn Sully is great. Funny how that works! :)

I like it!
The nick name Sully is a little "Dr. Quinn" but that wouldn't stop me... I think I'll add it to my fav list!
