One of my favourite books. It is set in the 1930s, the father is James but everyone calls him Mortmain, and there are lots of other great names in it, too. Simon, Neil, Aubrey, Leda...it's just excellent all around.

I think Rose, Cassandra, and Thomas make a fine sibset.
