I haven't been able to shake a maniacal love for the name Melinda for like a month now. I love Linda so very very much, but people are always commenting on how "outdated" it is. Not that I care, it's just annoying. But I really like Melinda, though I hate Melissa and Miranda. Thoughts? Opinions? Comments? Concerns? Combos?

It's really rather pretty and I much prefer it to Linda. I really like nn's Mindy and esp. Lindy, but Mel and Lin are nice too.

It's been growing on me lately. I think that it's sweet and cute. And actually it's coming back, along with Linda.

I like it! That's surprising because your style and mine are usually really different. I think Melinda is pretty, its unusual but not unheard of, and the only Melinda I have known even a little bit seemed like a genuinely nice person and was considered by most to be very attractive.

I adore it.

It's such a cute name, with so many nick-name options. I'd use it in a heartbeat. Melinda Jane springs to mind,.

I really like Melinda. It's cute, and reminds me of American Idol star, Melinda Dolittle. I still don't see why she was voted off.

It's nice, but I prefer the simplicity of Linda. I don't find Linda too dated. But since you asked about Melinda... (if I can remember your naming style...)
