It's my favorite girl name I think.
A lot of people on this board seem to think it's very trendy, at least in the US, which is where I live. My own definition of "trendy" is that it's been in the top 100 for more than a year, and has risen there quickly. According to the BtN charts, it hasn't been in the top 100 since the 40's, and has held pretty steadily since. I have met two people in my life named Charlotte; one is an art teacher in her fifties or so, and the other is the baby of a history teacher here. I can see by its rising popularity that it may become trendy in a few years, but right now I don't think it qualifies. So, what's your definition of trendiness, and how does Charlotte fit into it? Thanks :)
