Help[Surname] German surname search
I am looking for information on the last name Meklune. I was told that my family came from Germany between 90-100 years ago with the last name Meklune. I have not been able to find any information on this name and upon some more qestioning I was told that the name might have been changed upon arrival here in the states
Thier suggestions of what the name might have been before coming here: Macklune, McKlune, Macaloney/Macaloni, Macalone/Macaloney. Unfortunately there isn't any family left for me to gather such information from. I don't really know much except that they are originally from Germany.
If anyone has any information about this name, know someone with the last name or where I might be able to find such information please let me know. I'd really like to find out more about my family name. I have successfully done so on one side of the family, now I'm working in the other. Thanks in advance for all of your help.
