Katherine Grace is a 6 year old girl from Alabama (USA). She was on her way to her dance class with her parents one night when they were hit by a drunk driver. Her father died, her mom is currently in a vegetative state [with a 2% chance of ever recovering], and Katherine was left with minor head trauma, blindness [from glass piercing her eyes], and has a broken left leg. The cast should come off in about a week. She has a few problems remembering things because of her head injury, but her doctor said in a few weeks she should be back to normal. There isn't, however, any way to correct her vision. She might need counseling and a lot of support from her family. We also found out that she had been sexually abused by her uncle, who is now in prison.
