I've always heard it pronounced "ro-EE-na."
It's very pretty and makes me think of "Ivanhoe," which is a plus. I love names with literary connections or historical references.
Rowena is very romantic and underappreciated. It reminds me of another favorite that you might also like:
Morwenna ("mor-WEN-a"). What do you think?
P.S. I just thought of another similar name:
Edwina. No one ever likes it but me. I may have lost you now, I realize. But I couldn't resist throwing
Edwina into the mix.
