[Opinions] Re: Rowena (edited to add a post script)

I've always heard it pronounced "ro-EE-na."
It's very pretty and makes me think of "Ivanhoe," which is a plus. I love names with literary connections or historical references.
Rowena is very romantic and underappreciated. It reminds me of another favorite that you might also like: Morwenna ("mor-WEN-a"). What do you think?
P.S. I just thought of another similar name: Edwina. No one ever likes it but me. I may have lost you now, I realize. But I couldn't resist throwing Edwina into the mix.

I like Edwina alot actually. Its pretty and very under used.
Hey! We're going to be using Morwenna as a mn, should we ever have a daughter. It was my FIL's choice for a daughter's first name and, while it feels a bit heavy-handed next to the one and two-syllable names we favor in first place, it's a great nod to his Cornish heritage.
I love this name. I agree that its very underappreciated. I like the (ro-WEE-nuh) pronunciation.
