I am a fifty two year old woman. My late parents were Irish. My eccentric father had a penchant for different names.He gave me the name Neire but was never able to tell me what it meant or where he found it. I discovered it in an ancient Irish text (cira 7 th century BC) The Audacht Morann in English The Testament of Morann.
I would like to find out more about the meaning of my name.
