[Opinions] Conan
Is Conan pronounced COE-nin, or Coe-NAN? What do you think of it?

COE-nan with the stress on the first syllable. It's an ok name - like the sound but the meaning needs to grow on me.
Is Conan pronounced COE-nin, or Coe-NAN?
Well, the first if you're an Irish late night talk show host and the latter if you're a Barbarian. :) Honestly, I'm not sure but I'd assume the correct Irish pronunciation was COE-nin, which is nice but heavily connected with Mr. O'Brien. And trust me, people either love him or hate him so it could be a loaded name, LOL. (I work nights and we often have him on in the break room, and some people really like him but most people do not...at all; I like him, actually, but not enough to name my kid Conan. :b)

I say COE-nin, but I'm not crazy about the name, probably partly due to the fact that my automatic first association is Mr. O'Brien.
I believe it is properly pronounced coe-NAN. However, I tend to say the name fast and when I do it sounds like I am saying COE-nin :)
I say COE-nin.
Conan is okay but not really my style I prefer the pronounciation Coh-nan
