Commenters on BtN said that this name is rather popular in Russia. I vastly prefer it to Aslan (which, according to commenters, is another form of the same thing).
Do you think it's likely to be picked up by English speakers after some time? What do you think of it? What would you think of an American kid named one of these names?
Personally I think it's beautiful (but I would be unlikely to use it because the pronunciation is rather foreign to my accent).
