[Opinions] definitely Gabriel...
Edward- sounds English to me. It's ok for someone of another generation, but it seems too old for a little kid. It's fine by itself, but I hate nn Ed and Eddie.Gabriel- great! I love this name. It's traditional, but not boring. Also, I love nn Gabe and girl's name Gabriella.Oscar- the Grouch. I can't think of a single boy's O name that I like, and this is no exception. It sounds really harsh and old and humbug-ish to me.

English? sounds like bad stereotyping to me. I don't know a single one :)However, of the three I like Edward best, with Oscar coming in at a close second. Gabriel is common, and I don't like the sound

Didn't intend to sound like I was stereotyping. The fact that it sounds English to me has nothing to do with my opinion of it, and I have absolutely no idea if it's popular over there or not. It's just the first weird and random thing that pops into my head when I hear the name, regardless of whether it's true or just my loony imagination. :)
Edward is (very slowly) growing on me, and I like the sound of it, but I still can't picture it on a little kid. I think it would be great as a mn, though!
