Help[Games] Dream Family/Congrats Game - signups
This is going to be a little different. I just came up with the idea and I wanted to see if anyone was interested. Basically, this is a normal congrats/dream family game, but it's celebrity style. You don't have to use actual celebrities! All this means is that the parents will be involved in some part of the entertainment industry, the kids will have uncommon (but not completely weird, I promise!) names, etc. Each round (except this one) will also have some scenario that happens to you and/or your family (e.g. you get a part in a movie or you beat up a photographer) that you will write about.

Anastasia, then 19, had just starred in her first movie, Time for Joy, and her publicist thought this would be a good chance for her. Layne, hardened by his numerous injuries in the rodeo ring, felt himself melt when he heard her sing.
After the event was over, he asked her out. To her surprise, Anastasia found herself saying yes. They dated as best as their busy schedules would allow, for three years. They had a very simple, secret wedding, after which they took up residence in Layne's Texas ranch.

Hi, I'm Neela, a soul singer from Boston. I just released my first album entitled "Soulovely" and I'm still stunned how it hit the scene! What made you decide to pursue your profession?
When I left high school, I wanted to be an actress more then anything. I went to acting school but I just didn't cut it. My teacher said I was a gorgeous girl and that maybe I'm model material. I went to a modelling agency and I turned out to be a complete natural! I love modelling and I'm glad that I ended up in this career path as opposed to acting.
How successful have you been so far?
I'd say that I have been brilliantly successful so far! The first year or so was shocking but when I got a job with Gucci, I was in the modelling world!

I fist met Atticus at an AIDS charity event in Miami. Of course I knew he was one of the most hottest bachlors in Hollywood alive, but I didn't give myself credit enough that he would be even interested in skinny model who was at least two inches taller than him (men have serious issues with that). I was wrong. He noticed me that night, but it wasnt until the next day that we bumped into eachother at the beach and he came forward. We talked and realized we had a lot in common. But besides simitarities we had a great day that day and enjoyed eachothers company. The rest grew from there.
I am a sucessful model. I've been around the world and get a lot of jobs and major promotions. I've been lucky. I'm a good height but they prefer my "exoctic" looks - bright green eyes and long raven black hair.

From a very young age, I enjoyed everything that had to do with acting, and so after graduating from high school, I decided to major in theatre and acting in college. I did a few small parts throughout college and landed my first major role in a television drama after graduation.
John also knew he wanted to be a part of the entertainment industry since a young age, and landed his first small role in a television show when he was only fifteen. He continued to act throughout high school and college, where he also majored in theatre. He decided to try film after graduation and has continued to do well in the industry, filming a number of movies since then.
We met in a theatre class in college and began dating shortly thereafter. We were engaged about a year after we started dating and were married nine months after that. We've both continued to pursue our careers and are very happy with where we are in life :-)

Natalia Haven was an actress ever since she got out of high school. She'd always been the impulsive type; so June 12th, 1998, made an escape from her little Colorado town and flew to California. She was discovered two years later, when she got her first real movie deal. It was a small part, but a strong one for Natalia. She managed to make her way up the charts until she became a high-class celebrity. Since 2002 she's had large, recognizable movie roles, many fans, and sometimes overwhelming fame.
Natalia met Morgan while making one of her films, Liars In Captivity in 2004. Morgan was a musician, debuting an album called Sasha, after his desceased sister. One of the songs off of his album was used in the film. The song captivated (no pun intended) Natalia and she decided to meet Morgan. They hit off right away. Morgan appreciated Natalia's love for life, freedom, and hope, and Natalia was amazed by his intelligence and sense of calm.
Natalia and Morgan officially became a couple in November, ten months after Liars in Captivity came out. The public, of course, had rumored this for a while, and when word finally got out, they were all over magazine covers. Caspian always wanted to be an actor, his big break was on the Disney Channel when he was little, then he got picked for the lead role in an animal planet show, and he has been very succesful. I grew up in Ireland and wanted to be writer, but I ended up a singer/harpist for a local celtic group. I got my big break performing in a symphony and broadway musical. I was asked to become the lead singer in the celtic group Rohan and have been working my way to the top ever since.

Others echoed its sentiments, which always rankled Jae; she didn't want to be seen as some kind of replacement vehicle. She had her own drive and vision and wanted to be recognized as such.
There was something to be said for the association, of course, that she and Ms. McLachlan shared. The other woman had invited a then-mostly-unknown Jae Hart to perform on her revitalized Lilith Fair Tour, and the publicity had skyrocketed her career. Her big-label debut, Sunrise on a December Morning, had been selling well, and its first single, "Turning it Back," was getting airplay on top-40 radio stations nation-wide.
It had also, somehow, gotten her the attentions of Drew Fleming, heir to the Fleming Soap fortune. He'd apparently loved her album so much that he'd made an effort to acquire a backstage pass to a concert on her tour. Jae had meant to sign him an autograph and get him out of there as quickly as possible...but something had clicked, and two hours of chatting passed without either of them noticing.
Afterwards, he'd offered another conversation after another concert, and she'd agreed.
That was a year ago. It hadn't exactly been a normal courtship--with her schedule, dinner and a movie and a romantic walk afterwards wasn't always possible--but they were both very happy with the situation as it was and the possibilities to come. The tabloids, where Drew had a reputation for being a bit of a mama's boy who didn't take many risks, referred to them as JaeDrew and constantly insinuated that Ms. Hart was a gold-digger. The two blithely ignored allegations from StarNews Magazine and the rest, and when Drew quietly asked Jae the big question, she answered with a smile and a nod...on the back porch of her childhood home, without a camera in sight.
They married six months later (with many cameras in sight) and have just been settling into a not-exactly-conventional married life.

Jason and I grew up together. We went to boarding school together (my parents were rich world travelers and his mother was an actress). Jason's father was killed in an accident when he was three, and his mother wasn't sure what to do, so she sent him off to boarding school. I still remember the first time we met.
I'd already been at the school for two years when Jason came. We were in fourth grade at the time. Jason's mom dropped him off, then left. He looked really lost and about to cry. I sort of knew where I was supposed to be, so I went up and asked Jason if he needed any help. He said "Yes" and I showed him over to the boys dorm. After that, we were inseperable until 9th grade. In ninth grade, we kind of separated and began dating. Neither of us really felt comfortable with boyfriend/girlfriend relationships, so we started hanging out together again. By the time we graduated, we had plans to be married.
Two months before the wedding, my parents were killed in a cruise boat accident. We called the wedding off while I took care of the funerals and various properties my parents held. My dad was a real estate tycoon and left all his money to me, his only child. So, being an heiress, I suddenly had tons of money. Jason didn't know if I'd still want to marry him, since he was a broke college graduate (his mom had money, but he hadn't earned any); however, I still wanted to marry him.
Jason had been an amazing actor ever since I'd known him, but he had planned on being an athletic trainer or a personal trainer. Well, I asked if he'd like to try his hand at professional acting. He said yes, so we flew to LA and Jason auditioned for a small-screen movie. He got the part and did excellent. Four months later he was handed a supporting role in a television series about a doctors office in Miami.
We were married a week later, and moved to Miami to film the series. Being an heiress, I don't really have to work, but I need something to do besides sit around and do photo shoots. So, I decided to take up some hobbies. I bought some Quarter Horses and am starting to breed them. I also decided to start a garden, do some home maitenance projects, and help out with paperwork for a local charity organization.

Two months before the wedding, my parents were killed in a cruise boat accident. We called the wedding off while I took care of the funerals and various properties my parents held. My dad was a real estate tycoon and left all his money to me, his only child. So, being an heiress, I suddenly had tons of money. Jason didn't know if I'd still want to marry him, since he was a broke college graduate (his mom had money, but he hadn't earned any); however, I still wanted to marry him.
Jason had been an amazing actor ever since I'd known him, but he had planned on being an athletic trainer or a personal trainer. Well, I asked if he'd like to try his hand at professional acting. He said yes, so we flew to LA and Jason auditioned for a small-screen movie. He got the part and did excellent. Four months later he was handed a supporting role in a television series about a doctors office in Miami.
We were married a week later, and moved to Miami to film the series. Being an heiress, I don't really have to work, but I need something to do besides sit around and do photo shoots. So, I decided to take up some hobbies. I bought some Quarter Horses and am starting to breed them. I also decided to start a garden, do some home maitenance projects, and help out with paperwork for a local charity organization.

I hadn't been acting for long - The Watcher was my first major role. I went into acting because I simply liked it and it seemed to me a way to play pretend as an adult without being considered crazy ;) I've enjoyed a few minor successes since, and am now working on an untitled paranormal TV series set in the 1920s.
