Ethan and Elle or Ella would be ok but the middle names are too close. How about Elle Arianna or Elle Adrianna, or some other name that begins with A but isn't another female form of Alexander. Or keep Elle Alexandria but change Ethan Alexander to something like Ethan Aaron or Ethan Adrien or Ethan Augustine or Ethan Aiden, just not something basically the same.

I'm not a big fan of either name. Ethan has always sounded a bit pretentious and immature to me, and right now it's terribly popular. Elle is very nickname-y to me, and not attractive either. I also don't care for giving twins or siblings the same initials (or even using the same first initial for both). And I especially don't like using a form of the same name for each one's mn.

I personally hate it. Not only is the same intials over doing it, Ethan and Elle would but okay, but E.A. and then the SAME name for middle names, just the masculine form for Ethan and the feminine form for Elle...I personally cant stand it, sorry.

I really don't like those names for twins. Having the same initials and basically the same middle name is overly-cutesy and takes individuality away from the children imo. I prefer Elle as a nickname. How about making it short for Eleanor, Gabrielle, or Isabelle?

Ack - NO! I dislike same initial names for twins, and variations of the same name, even if is in the middle name. Twins have enough in common, and they do not need to be further linked via their names. Also, it just looks immature and theme-y. Just horrible - sorry.

I think the combos are far too close for sibling ie same initials and basically the same middle names though the names themselves are okay
Also I prefer Ella over Elle
