Marduk, Tiamat and Apsu are God's shared by the Assyrians(Sumerians (Inhabitants of the Assyrian city of Sumer)), and then assimilated by the Babylonians. Not exactly near east. Also, Tiamat as named by the Jews as Leviathan and was mention in the Bible, therefore making Tiamat Sumerian and Biblical.
