Hi everyone, I was wondering if any one else was given the name Nathalie? That is my name and it has gotten alot of weird questions like why is your name spelled like that? I had to do some research and found it to be a French spelling of Natalie. I am German and Scicillian origin not French. I had a Grandmother who had two sisters Charlotte and Marie and they may have been from the French Quarter, my Grandmother was adopted and sent to live here in the North East. The people she was raised by certainly did not know how to say this French name! So all my childhood I was called Nathalie sayine the H! Goodness it was so hard that in 7th grade I dropped the H! Now I know the origin and pronunciation and am very happy. My maiden name is German and equally hard to say! Knecht.. such is life, you gotta keep searching I guess! Love Nathalie
