I was wondering how Candela (Girl, I think it's Spanish, meaning Candle or sometimes Light) is pronounced. CAN-della or perhaps Can-DEEla? Or neither? Thanks.

It's the term used in English for the unit of light (as gram is the unit of mass etc), and for that purpose it's can-DEE-la where I come from.

Candela means "candle" in Latin and I pronounce it CAN-della
