[Facts] Need help with female Bible name!
I need a pretty Bible name for a girl. I have 3 girls Rachael, Hannah, & Sarah. Dont like Rebekah & Leah. Please help. Want something a little more unusual, but not outrageous. Maybe even a place. Any suggestions would help. Thanks so much!

What about Johanne, Ruth, Martha, Mary, Lydia to name a few
Hiya Mom...
About 100 years ago, a man named Hitchcock put together Hitchcock's Bible Names Dictionary, which purports to list all the names mentioned in the King James Version. It's very comprehensive, for sure (2,500 names!), and probably the best source for your purpose.
It's available in various formats on the Net (enter "Hitchcock's Bible" into google.com for a variety), but this one gives a meaning for each if not the gender:

Let us know what you finally decide on, and good luck!

How about Murium (I think that's how it's spelled)? She was the sister of Moses and Aaron (Old Testiment). Or Martha, the sister of Lazarus (New Testiment)? Perhaps, if you want to keep with the Moses affiliation, Zipporah (Moses's wife)? I'll see if I can come up with some others, if you are truly interested (I need to bug the librarians again this week).

I like Delilah the best, even though she wasn't that nice. Naomi is a pretty name too.

I kinda like "Mahershalalhashbaz" from that website PriaposLovs found. :)
But most other folks might think these are pretty, Biblical girls' names:
Abigail
Bethany
Jericha (feminized version of "Jericho")
-- Nanaea

I like Abigail. That's one of my best friends names, and also my boyfriend's godchild. She will also have the option of Abby.
My all-time favorite Biblical name is Eve. Temptation, I cant resist. If you feel eve is too plain and short a biblical name, check out the names listed in http://128.83.50.167/~thecap/spam/longname.htm.
I thought your all-time favorite biblical name was "Nanaea". :)
