I was looking at the Norwegian equivalent of the Social Security Administration's baby name popularity list and came across the name Iselin. It was #63 for girls in that country last year but I've never heard it before. I've been unable to find its origin or meaning anywhere. Isleen is a Celtic name that means "dream" and is a variation of Aislinn. Could Iselin be related?
Also, is it pronounced with a short "i" like Isabel or an "ee" sound like Isolde?
Thanks,
Claire
