It's a form of Zora, which means dawn.

Here's some more thoughts on how I think your name may be connected to star. In Bulgarian folklore, I don't know about others, Venus was thought to be a star becuase it actually appears on the horizon *around dawn* and is very bright. So people used to call that star Zornitza (which comes from Zora, which means dawn). Hope this helps.
